Why do I think of them as “wanna be Beckhams” when I see a photo of this pair? Hair perfect, outfit perfect, Brit accent – and words written from a PROFESSIONAL CAMPAIGN MANAGER AND STAFF? Please – follow the money. THERE IS NO REWARD ON THEIR SITE. Look at the terms of the trust fund. That million pounds is theirs – to be used for their family support – until the child is found. This contradicts their quotes in the media. They continue to earn much more than they ever made as doctors.
And please – follow the money: charge people for those missing kid flyers. No, you can’t print one from their site for free – they make you pay. They set up a shopping cart during these last 4 months; a Madeline shopping cart! The website is more professional than most businesses! They don’t advertise any other missing kid in Europe, like they say they want to do. Only Madeline. With her theme song! They don’t even give a physical description of her.
And finally, I have seen a lot of missing kid searches and NEVER saw one where they did this! Raised money for themselves, not for a reward. MOST MERCENARY SITE I HAVE EVER SEEN!
Inept to leave 3 kids alone? In the US that is criminal. This situation is entirely of their own making, and I do not think of them as victims. I see the most slick, the most professional marketing campaign that ever played on the world’s emotion with the photo of a doe-eyed child.

Wow – Joe…everyone needs to visit www.findmadeleine.com and see for themselves. I just did. They have a MADELEINE STORE! You can BUY bracelets and posters. BUY??? Please…if my child were missing, no one would have to buy a photo of her in order to help search. I’m sorry…I think Joe has hit the nail on the head. Pray for poor Madeleine
