Volta e meia os updates do AVG (o anti-v\u00edrus gr\u00e1tis), mesmo no modo “custom” em que escolhemos n\u00e3o instalar o AVG Search nem a barra AVG, instalam-nos \u00e0 revelia da nossa decis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n

\u00c9 um bom anti-v\u00edrus, \u00e9 gr\u00e1tis, mas tem este defeito malicioso. J\u00e1 \u00e9 a segunda vez que me acontece e n\u00e3o estou a gostar disto. Qualquer dia, se \u00e9 que ainda n\u00e3o aconteceu, instalam-me software malicioso para me roubarem dados ou usarem o meu computador de qualquer outra forma.<\/p>\n

Bem, mas aqui fica a solu\u00e7\u00e3o para remover completamente o AVG Search do Firefox. Foi tirada do site de apoio da Mozilla<\/a>.<\/p>\n

  1. Click the small arrow next to the search provider icon and select Manage Search Engines<\/strong>\u2026<\/li>\n
  2. Select the AVG Secure Search<\/strong> and Remove<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Open the Firefox menu and select Options<\/strong> -> Options<\/strong> (or open the Tools<\/strong> menu and select the Options<\/strong> item).<\/li>\n
  4. Select the General<\/strong> tab and reset your home page.<\/li>\n
  5. Type about:config<\/strong> in the address bar and press Enter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. Press the I\u2019ll be careful, I promise!<\/strong> Button.<\/li>\n
  7. Type search<\/strong> in the Search<\/strong> text box.<\/li>\n
  8. Right-click the browser.search.defaultenginename<\/strong> and select Reset <\/strong>from the context menu.<\/li>\n
  9. Type keyword<\/strong> in the Search<\/strong> text box.<\/li>\n
  10. Right-click the keyword.URL<\/strong> item and select Reset<\/strong> from the context menu.<\/li>\n
  11. Type browser.startup<\/strong> in the Search<\/strong> text box.<\/li>\n
  12. Right-click the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone<\/strong> item and select Reset<\/strong> from the context menu.<\/li>\n
  13. Restart the Mozilla Firefox.<\/li>\n
